So, my daughter has had a low fever today, but nothing to get worried or excited about. I sent her to bed at 8 to go lay down because she was tired. I just went upstairs to put my infant to bed and as I am walking up I hear her making this strange noise. I can't explain it well but she had her blanket against the wall and a small box between her blanket and the wall and she was on her knees pushing them against the wall. I asked her what she was doing and she said "celebrating with family". I said "what?" and she repeated "celebrating with family". I called my husband upstairs and he told her to get back in bed. It took about a minute or two for her to stop and she got back in bed. Could this of been sleep walking? I yelled to my husband that I thought she was sleep walking and I know she heard me but she did not say "no I am not" or anything like she normall would. She's 9.
Eeeeeeek... you should put a disclaimer on the title. This kind of stuff freaks me out. And I apologize, I don't mean to freak you out but I totally got goosebumps.

Don't worry, it freaks me out too. It was kind of exorcist type feeling when I was up with her.
Definitely just sounds like she was sleepwalking. I used to do stuff like that all the time. My dad said that my sister and I would actually talk to each other in our sleep. Super weird.
My son was acting the same way last night and had a little fever. He was acting like he was seeing things. My guess is that it has to do with being sick?! It scares me...
once one of mine freaked me out so much i wouldnt even go into his room to settle him - sent the bro in to get him to lay down and close his eyes. i hate freaky stuff!
my daughter pulled one of those on me when she was 3. She had been complaining of a tummy ache so i moved her toddler bed into my room put her to bed. An hr later i was watching tv and she sat up in bed turned to look at me and went to the restroom threw up looked at me again and said all better and crawled back into bed!! I was so freaked out i couldnt sleep i just kept staring at her the whole night!!!
I'm pretty sure my daughter (almost 3) sleep walks too... The other night, I heard something in the bathroom, and she was in there with my makeup in the floor, digging through it. In the dark. I turned on the light, and her face creeped me the eff out. It was just, blank. I told her to go to bed, and she hesitated, and then walked slowly back to her room. Flippin wierd.
Eeek weird...I know when I was little I would sleep walk all the time and I still do sometimes but its rare in adults. It usually happens to me now when I'm stressed a lot, depressed, or extremely sleep deprived.
thats creepy i used to sleep walk on and off i walked out the front door when i was about 9 the last time i remember was when i was about 15. It was hard to explain. I was standing in front of my parents bed. Not sure how long i was there. and my mom said espi what are you doing and i heard her and she said it again and i said i needed to tell you something but i forgot what. It freaked her out. I remember it all but have no idea wth i was doing.
I used to sleep walk. I would actually go outside in my sleep and my dad would have to make sure all the doors were locked. If she does it again, you should just ask her what she's doing, ask her to go to her bed, make sure she doesn't fall or anything but help her get there without waking her up. My friend's son started SW at 4 and the docs said not to wake him, just make sure all doors were closed and anything harmful out of the way, but that waking them up can trigger a hysterical fit somehow. I still talk in my sleep, my cousin told me one time while my husband was in boot camp that I told him he better take off that damn ugly shirt because I wasn't going out in public with him like that. She'll probably grow out of it though :)
Chit, dammit, grrrrrrrrr. I really really hate that even those these kinds of things creep me out big time, I flippin keep opening this thread and reading more.. WTH is wrong with me?
I think its weird. The standing in front of their bed freaked me out. But ppl talk in there sleep all the time. Hubby does it and i dont realize it and ill say what? And he doesnt respond so i go back to sleep. Toni dont see insidious
We just watched paranormal activity, we're going to see insidious next weekend! lol
its sooooo good! i love scary movies! but i feel like they really dont make good scary ones anymore. But that one will really get under your skin. Its def a must see.
