Into your marriage: Could be for simple stuff like "Why is my hubby not home by 4pm" to "He beats the shitt out of me" 

ha ha ha we would laugh when people would call saying their hubbys work too much 

I don't ever even call his office for him. 

lol nope, i did call when we miscarried though. 

I do have to say when we were 18 he didnt come home one night and he lied to me about where he was (down in the city with his boys, said he had to stay late at work) but it was suspicious, so I called the KV (before I knew they were all drama) and her husband was his CO. He got in a bit of trouble. Turns out he was scared to tell me he wanted a boys night out cause he thought I would freak lol. Stupid boy. It was the stupidest situation ever. We crack up over it now lol. 

My wife never has. And if she did, I'd come home and give her a reason to involve them. 

I call all the time. My husband is deployed and should call me everyday. When I don't hear from him I call the 1stSgt or CO. They understand that I need to talk to him and make him call home. Who doesn't call their husband's work? Isn't that why we have the number?

The only time I've ever called my hubby's command was to when we had our first miscarriage. He had left for a range about 2 hours away and had no cell service. I just called because I knew if I waited to tell him he would have been upset. I called the duty and told him the situation and asked him to pass the word to my hubby. 

I called the FRO once over a pay issue while my husband was deployed, and I'll never do that again. It got back to his Command and he was given an ass-chewin and made to call me. All I wanted was to know what number to call to find out the problem. 

Never..don't even know the number. He has a cell phone and I'm not his babysitter.

I called the duty once because i was 9 months preggo and had to go to the ER for preterm labor and he was in the field. 

Now I dont even know his work number and he has his own line, sad really lol. I'm not involved in his USMC job though. 

I wonder if people would call Sears...Taco Bell...gas station...diner... EMERGENCYS ARE DIFF

I did ONCE... and he was training for deployment when I was 7months prego and new to the whole married thing.... Some crazy decided to tell me she was sleeping with my hubs but even though I prodded for clues as to like "what color is his car" she didnt answer but I was so hysterical I almost went into pre-term labor.. couldnt get ahold of him so I talked to his gunny at the time who was super great got ahold of him for me and when hubs got home, gunny pulled him aside and said listen.. if this is true Im going to beat you... if not you need to straighten things with your wife... lol the said gunny is higher ranking now but he was amazing and to this day he still talks to me if I see him... Although, I will never do it again because now I know what to do... I have learned a few things in the few years now!:) 

They do?? LOL. I know when my dad was still in he had better things to do. 

i love the fro for the hubbys unit! we talk alot, i help out with events and such. if i ever need help with anything i can ask him and he'll get me the resources i need and such 

He has a cell phone for a reason. (of course, an emergency like pre-term labor or etc is totally different if husband has no cell service) I don't understand calling command for problems, what other job would a wife call their husbands boss for anything less than an emergency. 

Never had to. My hubby works in a pretty relaxed place it seems like. And I don't even know if there is a FRO lol. 

I have contacted the FRO for help, but that is what they are there for.
