1. How much is too much (considering both parents work) for you not to qualify to get NACCRRA? I know both parents have to work (or go to school) to get NACCRRA. 2. How do they determine how much you get if every daycare provider charges different ammounts...for example...do you get a flat rate....or do they base your rate according to the daycare provider you pick? TIA, any advice is greatly appreciated! 

What is NACCRRA? 

National accredited Child Care Resources and Referral Agency..... in other words, Military subsidy. 

Why dont you call them and ask? I used to use NACCRAA when I was in Virginia, and both my husband and I worked and I only paid 88 bucks every two weeks for full time child care at kindercare for a 2 year old. 

The daycare he is at is 225$ a week... Like I said I cant just call and ask these questions cause they dont give you estimates.... I tried... Sarah H... did you and YOUR HUSBAND both work and got that rate?? 

Yes we both worked. I made around $500 a paycheck and he made normal cpl pay ( back in 2006) and thats the rate we got. And it was actually around $225 that kindercare was charging for the normal rate. 

We used it when we were in Cali. My husband and I both worked and I believe it ended up that we had to pay $104 a week my son's daycare was close to $300 a week. Hope that helps, I know they don't give you much info when you call them. 

I know they don't give you much info when you call them. exactly lol!! But thanks ladies... I hope they dont say we both make too much combined. Cause some agencies (like WIC) they count BEFORE TAXES =( I swear we both make ok money but everything goes to bills. We barley have left over after everything is paid... and if I see they dont help out much...whats the point in working?? Either way I loose I think =(
