Hi everyone! So it has come to my and lots others attention that 3/1 ALL of 3/1 is in need of some certain supplies. The guys are wearing lots of ripped cammies and need to be covered up. I have gotten together with the others and we have decided to do a boxer brigade in order to get the guys some fresh clean boxers and to make sure they have plenty to cover up! In the process of this we have also come up the idea to make patches and supply small sewing kits with patches to the Marines for a quick easy patch up with all supplies on hand! I have spoken with the chaplain there in Afghanistan and this was his reply.... Hi Crystal, Thanks so much for the brilliant idea! Where do you ladies come up with it? This is what I recommend. We have 4 line companies who REALLY could use patches/sowing kit/boxers for their torn cammies. I will email you within few days, the address and the name of the PB (patrol base) so you can directly send it to each PB's (about 16 PB that are larger than a squad). Thanks. I live here on base, but you can mail to me or I can meet you Missouri, either way is fine....Im gathering all of the supplies right now and then will get everything to the sewers, so far we have 2 I think, maybe 3? There are 16 patrol bases thought so thats ALOT of sewing! lol

Yes we need all of it. I am going to buy some o be donated by my girl scout troop...it will help them earn a patch...that will get us started and the rest we are hoping to get donated. We have gotten about 10 pair of cammies donated so far, and several people offering to help :o) So yes, anything you can get from the list is what we need :o) 

Any kind of boxers various sizes, so we have some to fit all :o)

So I'm guessing my husband will need these things too? I can just include extras in his packages. 

Sure thats works too...he may need them :o) We are just sending giant boxes of them out there to the chaplain and to all the patrol bases so that everyone can get them if needed, because we have bene told its a problem out there :o) So we thought it would be awesome if we could just make a lot of them and try to donate them to the guys so they are bare! lol 

We are getting great feedback for this cause, I think I need to buy a bigger bucket to put supplies in!
