Getting married as a LCpl does not equate to getting rich, or solving your relationship problems
It really rubs me the wrong way when my husband's single friends think he "rich" just because he's married and getting BAH. Idiots! Oh and they're jealous he doesn't have to clean a barracks room.. Really, clean one room or a whole house plus mowing a lawn.. Hmmm which sounds easier?

They think he gets to lay around while you do all the work, LOL!
If you are married and seeing another man's wife while on deployment to Okinawa, it's probably a bad idea to invite your entire shop to her house for Thanksgiving.
The worst one my husband ever told me about was a guy who just married a lady with 3 young kids in San Diego and had to take them with him when he went to a Dr. appt on base. So he drove with them all the way from SD with no car seats (oldest was maybe 4-5) and then left them in the car alone in the hospital parking lot (it was warm outside) while he was at his appt.
