I do Jamberry Nails and Mia Bella candles. (http://MarineCorpsWife.jamberrynails.net) or (http://MarineCorpsWife.scent-team.com) All depends on you how much work you put in and how much you make from it.
If you are thinking of getting into direct sales the first thing you need to do is find.a.company that sells products you like and would.use. so if you are into beauty products sign up with Mary Kay or Avon. If you like cooking sign up with pampered chef.
You do not want to try and sell something that you don't use and love. You have to be passionate about what you are selling , if you are not your customers will pick up on it.
Second once you find the product you want to sell look at the companies and see what there comps are. You may have a company(a) that has a $0 start up cost but they only offer a 1% commission. Whew as there may be another company(b) who has a $100 start up but has a 10% commission. With company A. You might have nothing to pat out but you will get little out if all the hard work you put in. With company B. You might have to put out money but you will recoup your money faster and in the end make more. If you settle now for a low comp in the end you will get burnt out and quit.
Mary Kay start up cost is a $100 starter kit. Inventory is a OPTION...not a must!! You make 50% commission right away...so if you sell $100...you immediately pay yourself $50...the other $50+the tax the customer pays goes to order the product from Mary Kay. If you have any questions feel free to contact me...I am a Director getting ready to pick up my 4th free car from Mary Kay since August 2010 when I started..while I was working full time as a RN and In school full time with a 2 yo and my husband was a Drill Instructor. I agree with Alisa...You should be apart of something you have an interest in:) xoxo Tasha tashamay@marykay.com
I work with Pink Zebra! By far it is one of the best direct selling businesses I have ever worked for! I'm not joking, I tried Mary Kay, Amway and more, and I have never had as much customers or awesome incentives and commission checks till now! Since they are so new, not many people have heard of them and the company is giving out tons of incentives to their consultants, like $1000. PM me if your curious :)
I don't want to be pushy about your finding a good work at home type business, so I'm gonna let you look at it and figure it out for yourself! Good luck with whatever decision you choose!
https://www.newcorp.com/index.php/careers/home_based_ccr/ Iggy, I'm interested in learning more about working for new corp. Is it hard to get a job and can I make my own hours? Is it difficult to keep the job too? Anything else you could tell me about it? Also we are PCSing to germany, since this is online could i still do this job in germany? Thanks :)
New is a company that does tech support for multiple companies the one hiring right now is directv it's a real job real hourly pay and real set schedule. Now the cool thing is you can pick up and switch hours with people so I went part time my set schedule at night I'm stuck with but during the day I pick up hours I want to make my 40 hours :) ( if I want too ) As far as Germany I'm not 100% sure I believe you have to be in the US. But again don't quote me lol Easy to get the job and easy to keep if you do your job :)
