Not once. The husband and I are visibly hispanic. The checkpoint into El Paso is a different story. 

i've lived in this area my whole life and ive never been detained/questioned. and i'm Chilean and tan. where you pulled over? 

None. I'm white but not American. 

None....I am white but alot of people think I am hispanic...my husband is hispanic and travels that way all the time because he works up that way and has never been stopped. 

white and I was driving my husband's red ford truck w/ a USMC license plate and my son in the car.. lol 

i was stopped on the 15n twice. my step-dad was driving my sister and i from our dad's to our mom's house. (my step-dad is black and my sister and i are white) they stopped us and asked where we where going. my step-dad said home and they let us go. that was it. we laugh about it now. my dad was driving us to our mom's and it was night time. i hated how bright the lights are so i put a blanket over my face. the guy stopped us and told me to take it off my face. i was so mad because those lights hurt my eyes.

ha.. yes i was pulled over a good five to six times in the past 2 months!!!!! You can see from my picture i am visibly hispanic..lol and i have been by myself..(with the kiddos) and with the hubby yesterday. (only once with hubby) I get asked where are you going... where are you coming from.. what is your immigration status..hahaa El Paso... oooommmggg they used to do it to me when i was seven and ask me history questions (to get a kick out of how pissed i got i think) and then I would ask them questions... We lived in El Paso for a year and visiyted my moms sister in Juarez almost every weekend..lol

While coming back home from New Mexico we were stopped at every checkpoint. One was very late at night at I was sleeping, they woke me up to ask me what my citizenship was and I sleepily blurted out "United states"....lol

none...I've never even driven through there when they had the checkpoint set up...Once I was in line waiting to go through and then they shut down and traffic just drove through.. We always go through them when we go home to visit (taking the route that follows along mexico) into texas...We go through a lot of them and we have never been pulled over or detained or anything... I am white, my husband is dark skinned and looks a little bit hispanic, but he's native american...they just ask us where we are headed and if we are US Citizens....we say "yep" and keep on driving...lol.
